This is a story that tells of an evil that has infected the hearts of many a man, manifested through a tool which main purpose was to help the ailing and the sickly only to be perverted and abused by the wealthy and the powerful. An evil that crosses the boundaries of the comic book panels, gripping reality, crippling society... an enemy that not even the Batman can truly conquer!
We also see within the pages of this story the inner turmoil of a young man filling in the shoes of an accomplished crime fighter, right under the shadow of the Bat. Here, facing an enemy he cannot simply beat with his fists, his untempered "passion for justice" pushes him to the edge, to cross a line his mentor has vowed to never cross, planting the seeds of his violent future... _________________ the word |

What we don't know, and what the story doesn't tell us, is that they both had to wear their costumes in the plane on their way to Bogatago.
I always disliked stories where a solid right hook is not enough to save the day, but it's also closer to the truth. _________________
