AWESOME SHIRT DAY was the first.
Now, let's get dangerous.
Applicants are required to write a 300-1000 word review on their preferred comic series, issue, title or event. You can read some of the existing reviews some of the members have already made for reference (and by all means, read the recommended comic, too!), but for simplicity's sake, I have devised an easy-to-understand template for your reviewing pleasure.

TITLE OF THE COMIC- self-explanatory. Put this in the thread title as well.
AUTHOR- Name of the comic writer. If it has more than one, enumerate their names.
ARTIST- Name of the artist/s. If it has more than one (most events have that), also enumerate their names.
COMPANY- DC, Marvel, Wildstorm, etc. Whichever company the comic's under in.
PICTURE- A picture depicting and encapsulating the general feel of the comic. This can be a cover, a splash page, a crotch shot, or whatever. Now, for the people not familiar with our board, we use a separate image site for all our pixelized needs. I, personally, use http://www.imageshack.us/. If you prefer a better image hosting site, make sure you can link them through the forum. Also, you can have more than one image, if you want to look all bloggish and pseudo-professional.
REVIEW- The meat of the matter. Here, you can critique on the art, storyline, dialogue, page size, paper quality, etc. You can be as formal-sounding as you like, or as casual as you like. Go crazy, and remember to use the spell-checker.
RAPIDSHARE/MEDIAFIRE OR TORRENT LINK (optional)- We're not condoning piracy in any way. But for convenience, a link would be nice so we can verify the comics existence.

But... But I don't read any comics!
!!!
Anyway, for serious, ok, it's obvious that the hard part is choosing which comic/series to write about. Especially since I delete most things after reading (my USB does not work, this is a true story that is 100% fact) them, to save hard drive space.

Well, I guess most of you know it's WE3.
I didn't even know Frank Quitely when I read this comic 2(?) years ago. Just that Morrison was writing.
Probably be up when I get some scans and reread it. Ohbtw we forgot to remind Marion today. Did you guys mention it to him?
