I don't care about Manhunter and Earth-2 Superman much.
If they make Batman a Black Lantern, that would destroy the point of having a superhero with no powers.

Just read the scans. #1 is breath-taking, really! Great story. I started to feel the chilling of Scar started to talk. And the Black rings seem to have live of their own, kinda. I think I could hear my heart pumping really fast after reading the issue.
I hate to break my plans, but I can't wait to get my hands on the real copy of BN #1!  |

i wonder what those rings can actually do besides bring back dead people to life, especially when they're fully charged
ralph and sue's rings both went up to 0.02% after killing carter and kendra
seems to be cumulative
if that reaches 100%...

Well, yeah. Each and every Black Lantern has to kill 10000 people for their respective rings to fully charge, though.

i think it's going to be cumulative
they're already pretty numerous with all the dead people in the universe and it looks like they'll just keep on getting bigger with each victim so having to kill so many for each member to be fully charged seems to be too much death
unless someone can do the numbers!
i think that with the rings fully charged, the one who's behind the black lanterns will finally show up

My black lantern ring doesn't fit my little fingers.
Anyway, I have a question. Would the number of casualties in all "CRISES" events would be enough to fully charge those black lantern ring? That would be pretty scary? Just a thought. |

INTERESTING INFO FROM THE SAN DIEGO COMIC-CON
SPOILERS AHOY
- Ted Kord will be a Black Lantern and have a fight with Booster Gold
- Kyle Rayner will NOT become a Blue Lantern
- Larfleeze will try to get his hands on a Black Ring. Hilarity does NOT ensue for him.
- Somebody asked if the bodies of Larfleeze's Orange Lanterns will get black rings and face their Orange Lantern counterparts. Geoff said, "well Larfleeze certainly wouldn't like that, would he?" and confirmed that black rings would be on Okaara. This is not a necessary confirmation though.
- Somebody asked about a White Lantern that everybody is speculating about. Geoff said to keep reading, and that "it's definitely not what people are expecting."
- Maxwell Lord will be an upcoming black lantern and will still have his powers.
- We will learn more about the Spectrum Entities and where they come from.
- Black Lantern rings do not operate based on who's dead, but on who's alive. They pick corpses that are important to living heroes.
- Martin Jordan will come back and have a confrontation with his son. Geoff mentioned that he's debating about whether or not we will learn what his last words were, but that even if we do, Hal probably won't.
- Somebody asked about Nekron. They said they couldn't talk about him, but they said it in a casual way that made me think that he's not such a big player in this after all.
- Wonder Woman will apparently have "the coolest moment she's ever had in comics" in her mini.
- #3 will reveal something important about how the Black Lantern rings work.
- Vibe will be coming back.
- Geoff will be the writer on The Flash
