Hi, the name's Samantha, and you may or may not remember me from my application full of fail last semester. \o/ If you don't, it's cool, because I don't remember much of that semester except not getting any sleep. (Goddamn you social commitments.)
I read a little bit of everything, but mostly manga because that's what's easily available *coughforfreecough*. Rundown off the top of my head of current/past reads:
Manga/Manhua/Manwha: ffff too many to mention. I need to get my hands on the rest of Blade of the Immortal, Dorohedoro, and the actual novelizations of The Twelve Kingdoms. I keep tabs on Neuro, Skip Beat, (lol shoujo) annnd really that's it.
Western Comics: Fables (FFFF I should have bought the latest volume while I was in Amurrca), Sandman, Transmetropolitan, Watchmen, The Dark Knight Returns, a bit of The Darkness, Alan Moore's Wildcats... that's it really I think.
Web Comics: Gunnerkrigg Court, No Rest for the Wicked, Girl Genius, everything Kate Beaton does ever because Kate Beaton is Amazing, The Antagonist, and Kazu's stuff, once in a while. I used to read Digger when it was online; not sure if it still is, since it's been. A long time.
I also play video games, and I'd play them more if I, you know, <i>actually had a console</i>. As it is, I'm stuck with McGee's Alice, Portal, The Longest Journey, and whatever I can rack up on JayIsGames and ISO sites. Whooo.

If you mean Ursula Vernon's Digger, yes, it is still online, though it only shows the current page. You have to subscribe to the site in order to view the archives though. |

Since you're an applicant, the mods are requiring (or required) all apps to write up a 300-1000 word review of your favorite comic (or any comic of your choice, really). Details are in this thread.
You have an extra special, tailor-made just-for-you deadline of one week (February 16). Enjoy.
