From Wikipedia :
" The Room (2003) is an independent film written, produced, and directed and executive produced by Tommy Wiseau. It is the melodramatic story of a love triangle between a man, his fiancée, and his best friend. The principle cast includes Wiseau, Juliette Danielle, Greg Sestero, Philip Haldiman, Carolyn Minnott, and Robyn Paris.
At the beginning of the film, Lisa has become dissatisfied with Johnny, confiding to her best friend Michelle (Paris) and her mother Claudette (Minnott) that she finds him boring. Lisa seduces Mark, and they begin an affair that continues throughout the film...
As the wedding date approaches and Johnny’s clout at his bank slips, Lisa gets closer to leaving Johnny for Mark... "

This is phenomenal. All of it. I know I've misused 'tour de force' for god knows how many times, but I have to sincerely say it now, lest I explode in a shower of unicorns and pop tarts.
This film is a careless whisper TOUR DE FORCE. I propose we watch this in its immaculate entirety soon. _________________ love,

Is it just me or does this guy look like the demented love child of Christopher Walken and Paul McCartney? |

It's not just you. Good thing you concretized the "this looks oddly familiar" sentiment simmering in my head when I first saw this freak of nature. _________________ Batman doesn't have any superpowers... except his money. |

So I watched it. It was so deliciously horrible that it actually turned out to be great. And I am NOT kidding when I said it's bad. It's really that careless whisper bad.
You know when you watch B-movies, and you try to look for some type of redeeming factor that will push the movie into the "Eh It Wasn't So Bad" territory? A brilliant shot, or a superb bit of acting, or at the very least, a little bit of nip slip or gratuitous crotch shot maybe? This movie doesn't have them. Except probably for those really awkward sex scenes that happen every five careless whisper minutes. I'm not your poetry you; in the first 15 minutes alone, 7 of those minutes were taken up by that creepy guy's ass and the fat girl's tiny breasts (tight shots to make them look bigger!). The mundane scenes were HILARIOUS though; these careless whisper managed to make even putting down a tumbler of gin laughable. And the FOOTBALL; oh god, the FOOTBALL. It held some kind of weird symbolic significance, that they made constant reference to it. What could it mean? Was it a metaphor for the USA's plunging economy? I don't know.
I will definitely watch it again. With people, this time. Those sex scenes make you feel dirty after watching them. _________________ love,

No. I kept getting distracted by Wiseau's doughy mug. That picture does not do him any justice; his face is like a sweater. _________________ love,
