So in celebration of the 15th anniversary of Doom's release, I'm posting the FPS sequence from the movie, which is honestly the only memorable scene from the whole thing. Cheers.

My god, yes. I was grinning in glee when I saw that sequence. That's actually the only thing I remember from the movie, apart from Dwayne Johnson! Hah. "Dwayne".

Ah, Doom. Visions of my childhood, sitting in the dark, with that old DOS computer... Or maybe that was Wolfenstein. Hmm maybe I get that DS homebrew port. Nothing like some pseudo-3D FPS action!

I watched the movie for Karl Urban, OHGODEOMERNOSETACHE. And how can you mistake Wolfenstein 3D for Doom?

I played... um, turn-based Doom on my cell phone. Doom IS the reason I'm not into FPSeseses; it scared the hell out of me as a wee six-year-old kid (hence my interest in pansy-ass adventure games, and by pansy-ass I mean AWESOME.)

btw, you can play Doom (episode 1?!) on Newgrounds now though i haven't checked if it's gud.

I discovered doom on the PC in the condo/office of my dad. I was scared as hell but I still wanted to play it. Parents found out and they told me to never play it, with my mother scaring me and my brothers with a story about a kid who got possessed after playing Doom. Or was it Diablo?

Yeah.
