I'm compelled to shove a hundred copies of my Kule Caparas article down Madame President's throat.
Ladies and gentlemen of GRAIL, I feel that this necessitates action.
Let us make some noise.
Let us write a letter. Let us complain.
It can't do anything to reverse the decision, but I feel we owe it to the Filipino comics-loving public to take a stand. This is downright stupid. Are you guys in? Because I sure as hell am going to write a letter.
We can even post posters around UP.
Let's make noise. This is too much. Too much disrespect for the artists who actually deserve this. Too much honor and recognition for this sham who takes credit for other people's hard work. Too much blatant favoritism and disgrace from this pathetic excuse for a president. |

Should we focus on just Caparas, then? All this is a big stink, man. If we want to have Caparas taken down from his cardboard pedestal, we'd have to question the creds of other Nat'l Artist hopefuls, too. This whole debacle runs deep, so you may have to pull some Kule strings. Talk to Mixka. She's read it; she knows what's up.
