So my parents like GRAIL.
My parents really, really like GRAIL. (I have no idea why either, it's not like the stories I tell them (lol) are flattering or anything.)
To this end, they want to know if you want to come over to Laguna for a day/night for some MAD AWESOME PHUNZ a.k.a. they're going to rent out a private pool/house for 24 hours for us and we can spend the entire time like lazy bums and karaoke our hearts out without worrying about disturbing the neighbors, since they'll be doing the same thing.
They're serious about this. This is the third time they've brought it up in this week alone.
To that end, I need to know:
a) how many people are interested,
b) what date works best for everyone who wants to go,
c) whether you'll need a ride or can get here on your own.
The premise is pretty simple! We're going to pick you up from the Diliman area (or you're gonna make the great commute) and bring you to Pansol, Laguna. On Saturday morning, we spend the day and night at a private house with an attached pool doing pretty much whatever (personally, I plan to nap the day away). Sunday morning we have brunch at my house and we head back to Diliman (or you commute back to wherever, if you're close to Laguna anyway).
There are bedrooms! There are showers! There's a common area! My parents are willing to feed all of you! THEY EVEN WANT TO KNOW IF YOU WANT A SMALL LECHON.
Yeah, we've spent a lot of time discussing this.  a THEY ARE INCREDIBLY SERIOUS ABOUT THIS.
WHAT I NEED FROM U GAIZ:
1. Answer the poll. Also, tell me in a reply if you're available on more than one of the dates. I'm trying to gun for the date where the biggest number of people can join.
2. Let me know if you need a ride, or can commute to the area if given directions. HINT HINT: Lukas has been to Los Banos before. He probably knows how it works. This is really important so we can figure out lol how many cars we're going to need.
3. For the sleepover itself, you only need to bring:
a) yourselves and your best manners (c'mon, you're meeting my PARENTS),
b) however many clothes you think you'll actually need for a day/night+swimming. IT'S A PRIVATE POOL so if you for some reason would like to wear anything other than swimsuits/trunks for swimming, feel free to wear t-shirts/shorts/all other things banned from hotel pools.
c) snacks or whatever. We can provide lunch/dinner/brunch (or if you want to cook, there's a kitchen, just tell us what you need).
d) entertainment devices. guys wala akong functioning console, TV lang. If you want to play on a Wii/PS2/whatever, you need to bring your own/borrow someone else's. i imagine it is quite possible to get bored being at a pool all day.
e) A little bit of pocket money in case you want to get any of Laguna's fabulous souvenir items for your families (Mel's Chocolate Cake, Lety's Buko pie, etc).
4. Things my parents DON'T want you to bring:
a) drugs (lololol)
b) alcohol (only because mahirap i-transpo. We'll provide it if you want it. BEER/WINE/BRANDY/RUM/WHISKEY, you name it, my dad probably has it).
c) unknowns. Please don't bring the random lesbians you hit on in public vehicles.
d) drama. Self-explanatory. If we have to explain property damage to anyone, we are never inviting you back.
tl;dr: My parents are sponsoring a pool party. Who's game?

The pool party is now officially going to be from January 9-10. I need everyone who's going to be able to go to RSVP by January 5 at the latest, so we can coordinate travel/accomodation arrangements. Text me at 09053113047.
NOTE THAT staying only for the day (9th) is also an option. D; If you're not going to be able to sleep over, lemme know that too.

I believe I can attend this. All I have to do is to convince my parents that staying with you guys overnight would not further compromise my already skewed moral compass.
If not, then I guess they would accept me hanging out with you guys for one day.
As with the dates for this event, I'm with the January dates. Either one is good, though January 2-3 is more to my liking, as I go back to work on the 5th. |

January dates are obviously the best option for me(I'll be spending the holidays back in Bicol), unless academic concerns create a conflict with the said dates. I hope that wouldn't happen.  |

So it's pretty much been narrowed to the the two January weekeneds! Personally, I'd prefer the second, if only because if it's on the first I'll have a ton of tests to study for the next week and yeah I'd kind of like the chance to relax after that.
