Hello.
Ok, so Tina and I went to the ALC this afternoon. She was most likely there from the beginning of it, but she said she has difficulty navigating the forums, so I will post what I got from it. (I got there late...)
Important/Notable Dates:
July 7 - forum on the dismal state of education (at least, that's what I understood...) at C.M. Recto
July 8 - meet with the vice chancellor (?)
July 13-16 - exhibit of artwork about SONA
July 22 - Diliman Student Summit (we need people to attend this, it's required for ACLE)
August 2 - Org Development Training Series: The First Installment (this is for interested orgs... There is a 50 peso entrance fee and it includes lunch. I did not get the other details, sorry.)
Oh yeah, uh, are we going to have a presentation for the cultural night? Here's the letter with the details. (Oh yes, I'm putting my scanner to good use!)
If there are any additions/corrections, feel free to post them.

Here's my notes (hope they make sense... the meeting was mostly in tagalog. @_@)
ALC July 6, 2010
1) meet w/ dean - tambayans
2) sit updates -equipment and facilities
3) cult night
1 The meet w/ dean. No concrete plans about new tambayans, still looking for alternatives. Something about the stone benches (around katag?) - there's 6 benches, 2 would be public use, so 4 would/could somehow be offered or distributed among the tambayan-less orgs.
Something about fans-july
Female CR at the FC is off limits, soon the male CR at the FC will be off limits too (to students)
Something about lockers mentioned, and bulletin boards somewhere else in CAL new building okayed, clock?
Drinking fountain needs a donor.
2 a USC councilor presented this part. I didn't catch her name. Something about programs, policies, and all in a lot more tagalog than I could understand.
1 - tambayan recognition
2 - student code. We're strongly encouraged to join UPD_OFS1011 (where exactly, I don't know)
Something about a budget problem.
Tambayan = privilege not right
Be prepared and ready for this (something?)
Printing and notarizing (something?)
something about what the lab fees were used for (a/c in some colleges, equipment in some colleges, etc)

Oh, and hamon means challenge. If pronounced another way, it might mean ham. Hahaha.
