Hey, I'm part of this online group called ScrawlBrawl.
Previously SketchBattle, the idea was it was a place for people who liked drawing and sketching to hang out and chat (in the forums and the IRC). Sometimes, if you are challenged, or are part of the current season's line-up, you will have to duke it out with someone in a brawl. Two comics in, one victor emerges.
That was before the site went through a makeover. Now it concentrates more on a previously minor feature which is the art jam. A theme is given and a due date. When the date rolls over, all submissions must be in. Battles also occur, but are now not the main feature anymore.
The people on the forums are funny and great people, especially when you meet them in the chatroom.
If anyone's interested I left a link below. I think it's only fair to warn you that sometimes people leave NSFW stuff, but that stuffs only in the respective member's gallery.
