Not really on-screen deaths, but the superhero genocide Syndrome committed was a bit jarring. The actual threat of death when Elastigirl and her kids were in that plane was also moving. That and how Syndrome exploded in front of everyone in a fiery ball of death, killed by a car the superheroes threw at him with no remorse or hesitation, despite the fact that he used to be the superhero's PARTNER (unwanted as he was, which adds a whole new layer of delicious tragedy) touches on all the meaty issues.
Granted no one DIED explicitly. There were no grisly death rattles to curb your morbid perversions. No body parts flying across the screen. But you have to remember, it was a G-rated flick. And to have that large a bodycount in a G film is a stunning success.
