I really wanted to review Katekyo Hitman Reborn first (since it's related to the Italian Mafia and everything), but I ended up doing this first instead...

Seiichirou Kitano is a nice guy. Unfortunately, he doesn't look the part. Having no eyebrows, an extreme bed head that he has to gel flat every morning, an awkward grin, and scary weird mannerisms will rarely get you near anyone, even if you really are a nice guy. All this, plus some misunderstanding, makes him the "guardian" or gang leader of Hekikuu High. The rest, as many other people have said, is history.
I like the simplicity of the story, although the concept of someone being misjudged as evil because of appearance is pretty common. Even so, I still like the gags revolving around that in this manga since it's not really forced.
I don't care much for art (except in some situations), but I definitely say that art is not really the thing you'll be going here for. Although it might not be as flashy as some other manga art out there, it still fits the story.
The manga is pretty down-to-earth, so there are minimal wild hairstyles, almost everyone has natural-colored hair, and there are no special powers and such. The wildest hairstyle you can probably see there is Kitano's bed head when it runs out of gel,
and the closest you can get by way of super powers is Kitano's push and his ability to get up no matter how many times he gets knocked down.
Most of the characters shown are male. If there are any girls shown, they aren't overly voluptuous.
Since there are gang wars and such, of course, you'll see gangsters/delinquents, and you'll notice that the lack of eyebrows is not so rare.
Anyway, I still like it, so read it if you want to or don't read it if you don't want to. I read this a bit on http://www.onemanga.com and I haven't finished reading it yet. I'll put a download link if I can find one, but I usually download from http://www.vnmanga.com . They have all the volumes, by the way.
Eep! I recently found out that it has an anime! =O_o=
I might review Katekyo Hitman Reborn and/or Baku (or Ba_ku) next...
