Realization:

Okay, we saw the part with Superman shaving. Something is just so totally not right there.

So, let's have it. How many times has superman ran through fire, and yet his hair still stands. Then we come to this scene, with Superman and hist 5 o'clock shadow. He rubs it a bit. Then he turns a bit to the side and uses his heat vision to reflect off the mirror and blast of his stubble. Afterwards, he's all clean and shaven, smiling.

DUDE. Okay, so the heat vision din't affect his skin, since it's like super and all that. But his stubble! It got totally gone! OMG. Are you telling me that his facial hair is NOT INVINCIBLE, compared with the hair on top of his head? your poetry! What does this mean?

He did that mirror/ laser eye beams bit in All Star Superman too, I think.
