awww hell

I was hoping to see more of Morrison's Batman but from what I've read around, Morrison will be working instead on "Batman and Robin". Nothing official about that, though.

Oh crap. I wish Morrison would be in BATMAN so than he could tie some loose ends after R.I.P.
Let's see how this thing would go.
BFTC due next week!

Other leaked creative teams:

BATMAN- Judd Winick/Tony Daniel
DETECTIVE- Greg Rucka/JH Williams 3
RED ROBIN- Fabian Nicieza/Freddie E. Williams II
BATMAN & ROBIN Grant Morrison/Rotating Artists, first arc will be done by Frank Quietly
BATGIRL- Gail Simone/Andy Clarke
GOTHAM CITY SIRENS- Paul Dini/ David Lopez
BATMAN: STREETS OF GOTHAM- Paul Dini/Dustin Nguyen
OUTSIDERS- Peter Tomasi/ Lee Garbett and Trevor Scott

Outsiders is looking pretty good with Tomasi onboard; I may actually have to read it. I can't say I'm excited about Winick being on the Batman team, but if he gathers his your poetry up and pay attention to the goddamn continuity, he'll be on my good side.

Dini/ Nguyen Streets of Gotham made me make this slightly obscene sound at the back of my throat.

The only titles I'll probably be picking up with that line-up is Detective, Batman and Robin, and Streets of Gotham. Maybe Batman if Battle turns out to be really awesome and you just have to see how the main title picks up. As for the rest, scans will probably do.

So it's like some sort of secret?

Makes you wonder how the new titles will be numbered... Isn't there a Red Robin title out there somewhere? Will they pick up the discontinued titles' numbering, like Birds of Prey for Batgirl, maybe. Or Robin/Nightwing (depends on who's Batman) for Batman and Robin. But knowing DC, most of these will be number ones.
