First thing that came to mind when I saw the board for the very first time was "Why the hell do we even need a forum?"
Second thing thing was "Why the hell do we not have a music board?"
So I've taken the liberty to put one up!
Discussion of anything related to music is welcome, whether it be about upcoming album releases, concerts you might be going to, personal opinions on a certain genre/band/fanbase, new music you'd like to share to the rest of GRAIL, whatever! Just make sure it has SOMETHING to do with music. And, no, you throwing trash cans at your cat and recording it with an 8-track, passing it off as "avant-garde" will not be considered as music.
I am open to just about any musical genre and I suggest everyone else keep an open mind as well. Respeck Knuckles applies here as well. I'm sure we'd all like to be able to air out our inevitably differing opinions and I, for one, am all for it. Let's just keep it civil, guys. We don't need to read idiotic blanket statements, especially when it comes from someone who has no real knowledge of the specific music genre. Whether it be about rap or j-pop or Pinoy rock, let us conduct ourselves in such a manner that is expected of educated young men and women.
I will be here to not only moderate this board but to also recommend some music, mostly through albums, post my thoughts on an album or two, and *probably insult everybody else's lack of taste and ignorance.
I won't be providing any direct download links or torrents here but if you really need help in "acquiring" an album or a song, just PM me! What I will do is probably provide a YouTube link for my recommendations, if there happens to be any, as a sample.
Now onwards on our collective journey to the wondrous and boundless world of music!

We could probably do with a music suggestion thread. Post songs/bands you prefer and then someone suggests something that sounds similar. You know, like last.fm, except smarter!

Of course, downloading is illegal and is the same as stealing!
