i actually still haven't beaten it
the best i've ever done is kill off every region except three
i always use a virus on relaxed mode
from what i've gathered from some players, it's best to keep a low profile in the beginning by keeping your symptoms to a low and just collect points
make sure to be as infectious as possible without being visible or lethal in the beginning so that countries won't notice and shut down
once you've infected the regions and collected a lot of points, set to kill by using those points on the real dangerous symptoms

I can't infect the Philippines, weirdly enough.
My bacteria culture, "Super AIDS" infected almost every country but laughably couldn't kill worth a damn. Except for those poor blokes who died of super fever or whatever that is.
Christ, this game has me hooked. It's Bejeweled all over again.
