Marvel's latest space opera.
Don't have the time and back-issue knowledge (Annihilation come to mind) to post something worthwhile yet, but from what I gather, Blackbolt and the Inhumans went all-out space barbarian and decided that hunting the straggling militant Skrulls back to their homeworlds is an inescapable result of their spilling first blood. Now, Job, how did BB and friends mount an offensive when BB has just recently been rescued from Skrull captivity, and Attilan's social stability had been threatened by the Skrull undercover smear campaign. How, oh how?
Okay, the Inhumans have this process call "Terrigenesis". Terrigenesis occurs when a newly-conceived Inhuman gets subjected to Terrigen mist, a natural mutagen that's specifically configured to Inhuman DNA (they're Kree off-shoots basically). Now Maximus, Blackbolt's Machiavellian younger brother, had invented a series of incubation chambers that can further enhance Inhuman physiology. The bedraggled Blackbolt and his confidants happen upon these devices and they chuck Blackagar Boltagon in. The end result was an event that for me was so fricking unexpected.
Attilan transformed into a huge-ass spaceship, powered by Blackbolt's hypersonic voice.
Yes, a sizable chunk of the Moon origami'd into a space battleship, and it is powered by WORDS.
I will definitely be watching this.
