As you all know, rules are pretty much just a list of things you can't do. This here is no exception.
NO OTHER FORMS OF MEDIA
This is UP Graphic Arts in Literature. Let's keep things focused on what this organization was built on. Comics, komiks, and manga. No requests for films, music albums, e-books, or what have you that doesn't involve "graphic arts in literature". There's loads of torrent sites and file-sharing programs out there that can fulfill your pirating urges.
NO PORN
I'd like to believe that we as a community are a wholesome bunch. We do not tolerate the presence of "smut" in the hallowed virtual halls of the UPGRAIL forums. Whether it be softcore, lolicon, furries, grannies, trannies, or kiddies. ESPECIALLY KIDDY PORN (not that anyone here is actually into that stuff nor there is actually any "comics" of that stuff that I know of). We don't want the FBI on us like Michael Jackson on twelve year old boys. Let me reiterate: NO KIDDY PORN. Besides, there's the rest of the internet for your pornographic needs. Ask the resident snail. I hear he's got entire hard drives filled to the brim with all kinds of nasty stuff.
NO DISCUSSION
This place here is STRICTLY for requests only. You can discuss your recently acquired requests on the designated boards. We don't need this place to be cluttered with inane discussion on how much this certain comic sucks and how much time you wasted waiting for someone else to do the work for you.
FORMAT FOR REQUESTS (ok i lied about this just being a list of what you can't do)
These are the details you NEED to provide for your request to be taken. Some of them are not necessary and these will be pointed out.
TITLE - DO I HAVE TO SPELL IT OUT FOR YOU?
AUTHOR: WRITER AND/OR ARTIST - It helps clear up any confusion as to who might be the writer/artist in the case of on-goings and long-running titles where multiple writers/artists have taken the helm and it makes it easier for everyone else to find that specific item you are looking for. Plus it looks better.
TITLE OF STORY ARC - This is for on-goings and long running series as most, if not all of them, have stories contained within a number of issues (but you already knew that, right?) and story titles are much easier to remember than the individual issue numbers
ISSUE AND/OR VOLUME NUMBER - Not necessary but it really helps if you're looking for a very specific issue for an on-going or a long running series.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF REQUESTED ITEM - Not necessary but it helps if the author(s) or the issue/volume numbers can't be provided.
ACCESSION NUMBER - no not really
So if you're looking for Grant Morrison's run on Batman, specifically the story arc "The Resurrection of Ra's al Ghul" (god knows why), type in for the topic title:
Batman - Grant Morrison - The Resurrection of Ra's al Ghul
and as for your main message:
I'm looking for all the issues covering the aforementioned story arc for reasons that are as of yet unknown even to me. I cannot seem to find them anywhere and now I am calling upon your powers of locating certain rare prints. I apparently have no knowledge of the specific issue numbers but I have prepared a brief description of what transpires in the story that may help whoever takes upon this request to locate said issues.

As for actually providing for the requests:

Depositfiles
Mediafire
and
torrent files uploaded in reputable torrent sites (provided they are still seeded)
are all welcome. Of course, it'd be absolutely grand if you make sure that the files you are providing aren't virus-infected.
Breaking the rules will result in your privileges to post here taken away and thus make your requests null and void. And you will be called a doo-doo head. You wouldn't want to be called a doo-doo head now, would you?
FINALLY
Show some gratitude. A simple "thank you" would suffice. And don't be a leech! Contribute, if you can! While you're waiting for a request to be filled, go look at the other requests and help a brother/sister out!
