I almost wasn't able to get out of the hut a while ago...
Okay, my 1:00 meeting with my group in Geog 105 ended early and I went to the hut to eat lunch before I go to class. Then this kid went to the hut and asked me for spare change. I ignored him and ate my lunch.
He was still there when I finished eating, and he was starting to do something harmful (but not really intentionally) to the hut. I kept on saying "Wala akong barya. Wag mong sirain yung kubo." but he still pressed on.
Seeing that I still have some time before I go, I made a lousy paper crane out of one of the copies of Kule. After that, I decided I should go, but the kid had fallen asleep in the entrance.
I didn't really want to wake him, so I put my stuff in the front of the hut, went out the back, and got my stuff before I left. I had a bit of trouble when my shirt got caught on a nail. But other than that, it went smoothly.

| I think I know this kid. When I arrived yesterday at the hut around 2:30PM, I was this kid sleeping in the 'more derelict' side of the hut. I immediately decided not to enter the hut in order not to disturb the kid's 'privacy'. Job arrived and we both entered the hut and ignored the kid for the moment. While we're doing this pep talk, Job started throwing little 'paper balls' on the kid, probably because he's kinda annoyed by him. I didn't want to be really mean on the kid but I followed Job's lead, throwing 'paper balls' on the kid. It was going 4PM when I decided to leave Job because I have an Anthro10 class and still, the kid was still there, sleeping. |
