Marvel bought Marvelman/Miracleman.

I, I, I don't know what to feel. To tell you the truth, I'm very excited for this character to get a franchise reboot. On the other hand, it's Marvel.

Actually, I don't care that much. Let's see how this'll play out.

Marvelman vs Sentry MUST happen, though.

The only thing people really wanted out of this was Alan Moore's work on the character ( his OTHER major superhero deconstruction ) , and whether it's ever gonna see the light of day again - as fairly evident by EIC Joe Quesada's rendition above.

THAT matter is still up in the air.

And yes, my major problem with this is also that it's Marvel. Really seems like an astounding dis at Moore, since it's their previous dealings with said work which made him swear off working for them in the first place.

Any updates? I'm still trying to punch through that fairly durable veneer of Alan Moore inaccessibility whenever I read Miracleman. I have to get a TPB sometime and read it under my bedsheets like a young boy discovering comics for the first time. Either comics or porn, whichever comes first.
