Hey GRAIL people! Hi to all of you! I'm Van from the NCPAG, former IEEE student.
I tried to apply last semester but due to Job's incompetent leadership, I guess there wasn't any application at all. 
(Just kidding Job! Btw, where have you been. Are you still working or are you just bumming around all day in your house?! I missed the days when we just used to hang out and kill zombies that come our way!  )
One of the reasons why I applied for GRAIL is Job. He encouraged me to join and because of his AWESOMENESS, I got persuaded. To my fellow applicants, I wish that you could meet this one-of-a-kind person but alas, he already graduated last semester.
My hobbies include hunting monsters (Monster Hunter game in psp), casting spells and summoning creatures (Magic TCG) and of course, reading comics to some extent.
I've already quit reading comics because some of the comics that I like are really expensive and I can't afford to buy Magic cards and comics at the same time (Playing Magic is really expensive if you want your deck to be competitive!). But thanks to those geniuses who uploaded comics in the internet, I guess I can now handle both at the same time.
And yes I'm also a big fan of DC but I don't hate Marvel like Job does.
Hoping to know all of those members who I have not yet seen before. Gonna hunt you all! |

Seriously though, he's a cool guy with not-so-endearing character flaws but who isn't in GRAIL? There's Marion who likes Batman but hasn't seen the first Toy Story, there's Don who is rich but a pothead, and there's Hannah Santos who's reliable with org stuff but likes cats way too much! And don't get me started on Andrew and Carlo Cielo!
So what DC comics do you like in particular?

@ Sir Pepoy Josepito : No comics in particular. I don't follow any series because I might get addicted in reading them. The Flash and The Spectre are the ones which caught my interest.
@ Sam : Haven't seen anyone of my co-apps since the app orientation. Maybe they got intimidated because of the frat people and the other HGC members. We are harmless, right Sam?!  |

Sup. Incompetent leader here, just notifying everyone that I AM STILL LURKING THIS BOARD and that I HATE YOU ALL. But seriously, you are all very cool in my book. My Cool Book of Cool People. I mean Joseph's name is the only entry under the letter 'J', and that counts for something because of reasons.
Flash comics are a good, if unconventional, start. Lots of people have heard of the character but aren't familiar with noteworthy storylines, which gives me ample footing to flay them alive with my pretentious and over-extensive knowledge of the character. I always recommend "The Return of Barry Allen" if you haven't already gotten down to that already. Oh, here is a stupid little primer I wrote up but never got to editing. The pics are gone because nobody loved them in the first place.
And, you know what? Nobody ever will.
Also, Monster Hunter. Always Monster Hunter. I've been trolling the web looking for anthropomorphized MH monsters, like Kirin-chan (SFW, maybe) right here. Yeah, I know what you're looking at. The horn, right? Totally the horn.
This paragraph is still about Monster Hunter. Keep going. God I love that game. I dream about it, you know. Every night, fighting majestic and terrible wyverns. God.
