“P-Noy’s Got Talent? : Challenging the Filipinos to act for genuine change.”
1. Log-on to www.acres.ph.tc. If with Bukluran profile, signify intent to join the ACLE and update the organization’s profile and upload the logo until JULY 7, 10PM.
2. Fill out the necessary details in the website concerning the topic, venue, and other details by JULY 14, 5PM. Note that you need to submit at least two topics to be approved. And please submit venue on this date. (It is very important to submit venue PLUS an alternative venue on July 14 to avail free venue rental.)
3. The USC Education and Research Committee will approve the topics you have uploaded by July 16.
If approved, proceed with the necessary requirements.
If both topics are disapproved, submit a new topic by JULY 21, 5 PM. Note that this is your last chance to change a particular topic.
4. First collection of ACLE requirements on JULY 21, 1-5PM at the USC Office. Second collection will be on JULY 23, 1-5PM. Please note that this is the last chance to submit requirements.
ACLE Basic Requirements:
- 1 used GE book or 1 used reading (The committee will only accept those in GOOD condition. Please refer to the ACRES site for the list of books and readings.)
- 1 yellow pad + 8 bluebooks + 2 black ball pens or 30 bluebooks + 5 black ball pens
5. On the required events, the attendance will serve as basis for completion; please log-in and sign-out. ONLY THOSE WHO HAVE COMPLETED THE TIME WILL BE CREDITED. The organization must send 2-3 members on the following events:
- Education Situation Forum, July 7 (details TBA)
- Diliman Student Summit, July 22 (details TBA)
- SONA Kapihang Bayan, July 30 (details TBA)
- Solid Waste Management Tutorial, August 2/9 (2 sessions: 9 Am or 1 PM, Vinzon’s Rooftop)
Optional Events (Participation in TWO (2) of these events could be credited for one missed requirement, except for the FOX event):
- Community Situation, (date and details TBA)
- Marketing and Public Relations Seminar, August 2 (details TBA)
- Fox Philippines Event, Third week of July (details TBA); the organization must send at least 40 members (or friends) to the event to be credited. Completion of this optional event means the organization will only attend THREE (3) required events. Those who will attend this event have a chance a chance to win iPads from Fox Philippines.
6. Please continually visit the Acres site for updates. Important details and updates will be uploaded in the site from time to time.
7. Please contact Chorva (09275893480) for general inquiries or Duday 909172764347) for questions on ACLE requirements.
Important dates to remember:
July 7, 10PM – Intent to join the ACLE plus updating the organiizaton’s profile and uploading org logo
July 14, 10PM – Topic and venue submission deadline
July 15 – EdRes Meeting to approve/reject topics
July 16 – First release of approved topics
July 21, 5PM – Deadline of topic and venue finalization; 1-5PM – ACLE basic requirements collection, USC Office
July23 – Release of final list of approved topics; 1-5PM – ACLE basic requirements collection, USC Office
July 28, 1-5PM – ACLE basic requirements final collection, USC Office |

I also have the Philosophical Analysis book by Acuna, though I left it in Bicol last summer. My readings on Physics 71 & 72, as well as Math 53 & 55 are incomplete. |
