A boy is trapped in a telephone booth sealed in an envelope of concrete. He has no idea how he got there. He has no inkling of where he is. What he has are a very specific set of math skills, dental floss, three coins, two pens, a Russian paperback novel and his will to escape.
An ontological mystery, which uses the protagonist's predicament and the succeeding jarring epiphanies to ask hard questions of identity and accountability while emphasizing human ingenuity. If you've ever read Death Note and were put off by its fetish for exaggerating mundane tasks, a word of caution:
These will be the most dramatic math problems you will ever see.
