A pinch of this and a pinch of that...

Yes, I'm well aware that this is a webcomic but Batman is Batman.

What did he mean "recycled materials"? I haven't read a lot of Batman comics or any of his works to know.

I DO NOT KNOW THE SPECIFICS BUT IT DEFINITELY PUTS MORRISON IN A NEGATIVE LIGHT

NOT TO MENTION HOW HE THROWS THE BOX AWAY

Oh, look. Uninformed, grossly misguided opinions.

Is there a comic writer considered a genius in all accounts? Genius in this but retard in another.

I think Neil Gaiman was a genius when he made Sandman but the other comics I've read so far lacked the genius he displayed before. In regards to his novels, he was only a genius, IMO, in Neverwhere and American Gods (not a favorite novel, just Neverwhere, though I still stand by my opinion that it would've been better off as a graphic novel. The images in the book, especially the final fight between gods would've been damn impressive with the right artist). And I think he's a much better writer of children's book and short stories.

I found Morrison's Batman Gothic to be a bit bleh and Alan Moore's Smax was a poor, poor spin off. It was like he wrote it because his brain farted and his contract made him do it. I don't know about his novel-ing skills though.
